Welcome to the North Myrtle Beach Intermediate School website.

I am Michelle Greene-Graham, principal of North Myrtle Beach Intermediate School. It is an honor to be at such a great school and to serve my community. I am an Horry County native who has worked in our educational system for more than 15 years. My career has afforded many opportunities for me to grow as a professional. I look forward to the continued growth and progress of our students. I feel sure that working together we can accomplish our goals.  Our school's population has steadily increased over the past several years. Our current enrollment is 671 students. At North Myrtle Beach Intermediate School we spend considerable time providing many opportunities for academic and social growth.
Our standards-based integrated curriculum is organized into instructional blocks of time for Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. Our academic instruction is based on the individual needs of our students. Forty-five minutes each day is dedicated to exploratory programs (specials). Our students participate in rigorous academic programs that are designed to prepare them for middle school and life-long success. Students are also offered opportunities to participate in many extra curricular activities.  We encourage you to visit our campus, join us for lunch, or become a school volunteer.
